The Peric Tour : between Ariège and Capcir
Tailor-made family getaways!
A look back at a few days' wandering between Ariège and Capcir for a small family of hikers, accompanied by our guide Wannes. They were able to discover the beauty of these two regions thanks to a tailor-made itinerary specially designed for them !
The Tour des Pérics, an itinerary devised by the refuge keepers themselves, who use it from time to time to visit their "neighbors", wanders among the lakes and on either side of the watershed between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
So this little family of hikers set off to discover the Perics massif, looking east towards the Capcir and the Mediterranean, and west towards the Haute Ariège and the central Pyrenees. A wide variety of landscapes awaited them, as did a night's bivouac on the banks
of the Estany de Trebens, and the arrival of unexpected visitors during meals...
