1️- La Rhune: the emblematic mountain of the Basque Country


From its height of 905 meters, La Rhune, or Larrun in Basque, offers spectacular panoramic views of the Pyrenees mountain range, the Atlantic Ocean and even the coast of San Sebastian in Spain. A variety of hiking trails are available. You can reach it on foot via the GR10, or take the “Petit Train de la Rhune” to the Col de Saint Ignace.

5- The Jaizkibel coastal path



Discover the unspoilt coastline of Jaizkibel and its oceanic moorland, along the cliffs and numerous coves. It's a unique geological spectacle, where the strange shapes of the rocks have been shaped by the wind and the ocean.
From the summit of Jaizkibel you can admire the magnificent view over Hendaye and Txingudi Bay.




6- Holzarte Canyon and its vertiginous footbridge



Beware of vertigo - thrills guaranteed! Admire this spectacular gorge from the Holzarte footbridge (which means “between the walls” in Basque) suspended 150 metres above sea level. The 67-metre-long bridge separates the two banks of the Olhadubi Gorge, which it overlooks.

7- The Iparla ridge: the natural wall of the Basque Country


From the heights of these superb red sandstone cliffs, enjoy the splendid panoramic views offered by the Iparla ridge. Much more than just a ridge, it's also a pass and a peak. 8- The Aldudes Valley

9- Deux Jumeaux beach in Hendaye



Put on your sandals and set off for a stroll along this magnificent beach, which stretches for 3 km! The beach takes its name from the two imposing rocks that emerge from the ocean at its end.
In addition to the walks, it's also the ideal spot for beginner and intermediate surfers.




10- Peñas d'Itsusi nature reserve
